SmartAX MA5626 POE
The SmartAX MA5626 Power over Ethernet (the MA5626 PoE for short) is an industry-leading remote multi dwelling unit (MDU) launched by Huawei, which is used on a passive optical network (PON) and provides wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) coverage in Fiber To The Building (FTTB) hotspots and supplies power for access points (APs) or video cameras used for safety city construction. The MA5626 PoE is a boxtype device measuring 1-U high and 19-inch wide, providing two GPON or GE network ports and four GE and FE (total eight) LAN user ports, and supplying power for terminals by using category-5 cables. The MA5626 PoE features easy installation and maintenance, high power output, high bandwidth, integration, mute design, and high stability.
Applied in FTTB construction scenarios and placed in network cabinets in corridors, the MA5626 PoE connects to the optical line terminal (OLT) by using gigabit-capable passive optical network (GPON) ports and to IP cameras or APs by using category-5 cables, providing a channel for transporting video or Wi-Fi services and supplying power for terminals by using category-5 cables and the PoE technology.
- Hotspot Wi-Fi coverage and video monitoring scenarios: Support for the PoE function and power supply by using category-5 cables, reducing cost and dependence on power supply equipment compatibility and achieving minimum project input and fast deployment
- Easy installation: integrated PoE equipment and it can support AC or DC power input
- Support for high-power equipment: Any port on the MA5626 PoE can connect to either 30 W (802.3a) or 15 W (802.3af) terminals.
- The uplink ports support the small form-factor pluggable (SFP) optical modules.
- Plug-and-play (PnP) service provisioning: The MA5626 PoE allows remote issuing of configuration. A management channel and service channel are created after the MA5626 PoE is powered on and registers successfully. Manual onsite configuration is not required.
- Efficient management and maintenance: free of field software commissioning, remote acceptance, remote upgrade and patch installation, and remote fault location
- Carrier-class reliability design: Hardware design, software design, and system design meet reliability requirements, ensuring normal operating of the MA5626 PoE.
