Solución eLTE de Huawei para puertos

Port operations comprise an essential part of logistics today. Like any other enterprise, ports continue to seek improvements in efficiency to boost profits and to maintain competitiveness. Effective management systems are also critical for everyday operations. Ports face many significant management challenges: improving cargo handling efficiency, reducing operating costs, and guaranteeing port safety. In addition, accurate and efficient TOS and RCMS information transfer and effective voice dispatch are critical components of port processes.

Many of these challenges can be handled by an advanced communications network. Wireless communications and video transmission offer a convenient solution to the diverse problems faced by the port enterprise. Multiple wireless networks, such as voice trunking and WLANs, can be used simultaneously for these applications, but these networks introduce new issues, such as limited coverage or complex maintenance procedures.

To meet the demands and goals of the port enterprise, Huawei offers the eLTE solution. It features instant communications (up to 100 Mbps throughput with low latency) in an enterprise-wide network that features multiple broadband services, such as voice trunking, data service, video transfer, and RCMS data backhaul. And to maintain service continuity, Huawei can leverage its expertise in the carrier market to provide seamless coverage for communications throughout the enterprise.

Multiple Services in One Network

The eLTE solution from Huawei is the world’s first broadband trunking system that supports multiple services in a single network. It combines important port services such as real-time video monitoring for crane operations, Terminal Operating System (TOS) data and voice dispatch for tally clerks, and Remote Crane Management System (RCMS) data backhaul into one network that can be accessed by many wireless devices. With the eLTE solution, all port operations can be coordinated for higher productivity and more effective management of daily work processes. If an emergency should occur, the eLTE network can transmit real-time video to dispatch personnel to help them take appropriate action.

Multi-band and Multi-series Product Solution

The eLTE solution offers multiple, separate frequency bands to resolve concerns with security, availability, and interference and allow customers to use existing resources. Huawei offers 400M / 800M / 1.4G / 1.8G / 2.3G / 2.6G / 3.5G / 3.7G / 5.8GHz frequency bands as well as a selection of reliable communications devices that can be used for different services or operations. For example, Huawei products include handsets, vehicle-mounted devices, and video cameras, which can be used by tally clerks, drivers, and dispatchers.

Full Portfolio, Open Industry Chain

The eLTE solution offers a complete portfolio of Huawei components, from chipsets to systems, and includes devices, base station, core network, and operating software. To help build a prosperous industry chain, the eLTE solution features an open, interoperable interface for PSTN, PLMN, PABX, and TETRA networks, as well as an open platform for third-party application development.

Seamless Coverage to Ensure Business Continuity

With Huawei distributed base station design, the base-band unit can be installed separately from the remote radio, which can be located on a tower, a pole (such as lamp pole), against a wall, or on top of a building. The easy base-station deployment offers seamless coverage of all port areas, including berths, roads, container yards, gates, and crane areas.
