High Performance Computing or HPC solutions are designed for large amounts of computing in short periods of time. The HPC system architecture is evolving from a single computer system with many CPUs to computer clusters. Based on advanced “All-in-one” integrated design concepts, Huawei HPC cluster solutions integrate a full range of IT hardware and cluster management software. Huawei HPC cluster systems offer three scalable delivery solutions: All-In-Chassis, All-In-Rack, and All-In-Room to meet the computing needs of different customers. From end-to-end, Huawei’s HPC solutions are optimized from the architectural infrastructure to the application solutions. Huawei HPC solutions have passed Intel Cluster Ready (ICR) certification. This certifies that all components of Huawei’s HPC solutions offer excellent compatibility, interoperability, and maintainability.

With the rapid development of the information society, the demands of information processing capacity have been greatly increased, high-performance computing systems are widely used in petroleum exploration, weather forecasting, aerospace and defense, life sciences, animation rendering , physical chemistry and other fields. In recent years, the high-performance computing demand on finance, government information technology, education, business, online games and other wider areas is also growing fast. The main challenges of high-performance computing are computing performance improvement, simplified installation and deployment, intelligent management, green energy and so on.


Huawei's All-In-One HPC cluster solution adopts Huawei's high-performance servers, large-capacity storage, and innovative cluster and device management software, offering you the power of HPC to easily solve these complex problems. 1. Providing high performance computing products and solutions in all areas

With rich experiences in hardware and software field, cooperating with application software provider, Huawei provides end-to-end high performance computing solutions. The design concept of high performance solution architecture is a balance system covering hardware, software and service. It can meet diversified requirements of different customers.



2.One-stop solution: shortening on-line time of service

Through All-in-one design concept, converging computing, storage, networking and software, Huawei provides one-stop solution, which achieves rapid service on-line by simplifying system deployment. With pre-configured and standard interfaces, the onsite solution installation can be completed within 1 week, improving the deployment efficiency by 50% compared to traditional installation mode. It is simplifying the administrator's management and improving management efficiency.

Huawei HPC software has a component-based, WEB, open characteristics.

By adding elastic, on-demand, sharing features, Huawei's HPC solutions not only meet the traditional supercomputing cluster management needs, but also have a smooth evolution capability to cloud. Huawei's HPC software can meet the needs of users in different sectors, with customized and pre-integrated application software, comprehensive job management, efficient job scheduling, unified and intuitive cluster management and monitoring, intelligent energy management, improved account management, convenient deployment ability. At the same time, a PUE index less than 1.5 thanks to the combination of in-row air conditioners, modular UPSs, enclosed cold passages, and deeply integrated power distribution frames (PDFs).

With such an architecture, hardware manufacturers and software vendors can better cooperate and integrate with each other, cluster systems can be compatible with a wider range of application software, and customers can use applications at ease.
