eOMC910 uses the component framework design , each service function can be developed by the element method, then the eOMC910 can quickly response the operation requirement of the customer.
eOMC910 is based on client/server mode, the server has different typical configuration according to the network scale.
Framework
The eOMC910 is based on an open lightweight J2EE framework. Such feature allows the eOMC910 to promptly respond to a user's OM requirements, ensuring a smooth upgrade.
The eOMC910 server runs the 64-bit SUSE Linux Enterprise V10 SP4 and uses the 64-bit MySQL Community DB 5.0.26 database.
Interface
The eOMC910 provides multiple external interfaces for different users in different scenarios. Such interfaces are southbound interfaces for NE management, such as man-machine language (MML) interfaces and binary interfaces.
OM
On an OM terminal including a control panel, a user performs system management, configuration management, alarm management, software management, performance management, security management, and log management. Users can also use an operation management terminal that run independently of the OM terminal.
In addition, the server and client of the eOMC910 support Chinese and English.
Different types of servers can be selected for the eOMC910 to meet different management requirements. A common computer can be used as a client.
Network Scale
The network can be defined as a medium-sized and small-sized network. For details, see Table 2-1.
Table 2-1 Network scale
Network scale Description
|
Network scale Description
|
Small-sized network
|
Contains fewer than or equal to 50 eNodeBs, and fewer than or equal to 4000 terminals.
|
Medium-sized network
|
Contains more than 50 but fewer than or equal to 200 eNodeBs, and fewer than or equal to 8000 termianls.
|
Large-sized network
|
Contains more than 200 but fewer than or equal to 500 eNodeBs, and fewer than or equal to 10000 terminals.
|
Server
Different scales of networks require different types of servers. For details of server types, see Table 2-2, Table 2-3, and Table 2-4.
