Tailor-Made Product Form and RRUs Based on Enterprises' Requirements for the Wireless Network
The DBS3900 supports mainstream LTE TDD frequency bands and TDD-specific frequency bands (1.8 GHz and 1.4 GHz) in the industry. In addition, the RRU can work at a full bandwidth, transmit signals with high power, and maximize power amplification efficiency.
Flexible Installation for Fast Network Deployment with a Low TCO
- Flexible installation of the DBS3900 simplifies site acquisition and achieves fast network deployment with a low total cost of ownership (TCO).
- The BBU3900 can be installed on an indoor wall or in a standard cabinet, reducing the installation cost. The RRU can be installed on high positions, for example, on a pole, tower, or concrete wall, reducing site lease costs. It can also be installed close to the antenna system, reducing the cost of feeders and power consumption.
The DBS3900 provides various transmission ports for Internet Protocol (IP) transport. Multiple quality of service (QoS) mechanisms are applied to provide high capacity, implement differentiated services, and meet the QoS requirements.

The DBS3900 addresses site acquisition problems and shortens network deployment time. It enables enterprises to efficiently deploy a wireless network with a low TCO by minimizing the investment in electricity, space, and manpower.
The DBS3900 consists of the BBU3900 and RRU. The BBU3900 is characterized by its small footprint, easy installation, and low power consumption. Therefore, the BBU3900 can be easily installed in a spare space at an existing site. The RRU is compact and lightweight. It can be installed close to an antenna to shorten feeder length and improve system coverage.
Figure 2-10 and Figure 2-11 shows the typical scenarios for installing the DBS3900 outdoors and indoors, respectively.
