Con una arquitectura tipo "conmutación universal" que permite la transmisión eficaz de servicios de voz, datos, SAN/video y video en una única plataforma, el sistema de transmisión óptica inteligente OptiX OSN 1500 de Huawei se puede utilizar en modo paquetes o modo de Multiplexación por División de Tiempo (TDM) para garantizar el procesamiento óptimo de servicios. El OptiX OSN 1500, que se utiliza principalmente en la capa de acceso de la Red de Área Metropolitana (MAN), puede interconectarse con otros equipos de Huawei para soportar aplicaciones como la aplicación en modo de paquete puro, la aplicación de red híbrida (central telefónica virtual en modo paquete y TDM) y la aplicación en modo TDM puro. Esto optimiza las inversiones en redes.
