This centralized network is applicable to enterprises that have few or no branches.

The SoftCo5816 supports distributed networking. In a distributed network, one SoftCo5816 is deployed at headquarters to connect to operators' local networks. If necessary, associated service and management servers can be also deployed. Users at headquarters can use analog phone sets, IP phone sets and soft terminals to obtain basic communication and services. This distributed network is applicable to enterprises that have many branches

At each large branch, one additional SoftCo5816 is deployed to connect to operators' local network. If necessary, associated service servers can also be deployed. Users at these large branches can use analog phone sets, IP phone sets and soft terminals to obtain basic communication and services from the local SoftCo5816.

However, at each small branch, no additional SoftCo5816 is deployed. Instead, users can use IADs, IP phone sets and soft terminals to directly obtain basic communication and services from the SoftCo5816 at headquarters.
