The eSpace 6850 supports the international audio codec protocols, including G711 (A and U frequency) and G722. It also supports automatic protocol adaptation, that is, choosing the suitable codec protocol according to the peer device.

Multiple Methods for Obtaining IP Addresses
The eSpace 6850 applies to various networking environments. You can manually set a static IP address for the eSpace 6850 or obtain a dynamic IP address for the eSpace 6850 through Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) or Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE).
QoS Guarantee
The eSpace 6850 supports Layer 2 (802.1Q/VLAN, 802.1p) and Layer 3 (ToS and DiffServ) configuration, providing optimal IP phone voice quality.
Quick and Easy Operation
Easy Installation
The eSpace 6850 shows the user-centered design. Users can directly connect the eSpace 6850 to the Internet to automatically download configuration files from the configuration server, and users can also manually configure the phone through menus before using the eSpace 6850 IP phone.

Special keys have been designed for frequently-used functions. These keys are arranged into several areas based on the functions. Users can use these functions by simply pressing the keys instead of operating on menus.
Multiple Auxiliary Ports
Earphone Port
The eSpace 6850 is equipped with 2.5 mm and RJ22 earphone ports, which allows users to use earphones during calls. Earphones are ideal for people who frequently use phones and who want to free their hands from holding their phones.
External PC Network Port
The eSpace 6850 provides 10/100 Mbps PC ports. Additional cabling is unnecessary when the eSpace 6850 is deployed with a PC, which saves cabling costs.
Extension Board Port
The eSpace 6850 provides two extension board ports, through which two extension boards can be added to provide speed dialing keys for up to 112 phone numbers.
