Integrated Access Device – eSpace EGW1500E

El Gateway Empresarial eSpace EGW1500E Huawei (el 'EGW1500E') es un gateway empresarial todo en uno que integra acceso, funciones inalámbricas, de seguridad y voz y tecnologías de la información y comunicación (ICT). Estas funciones han sido diseñadas para satisfacer las necesidades de servicios seguros, integrales y de extremo a extremo de pequeñas y medianas empresas, sucursales de empresas, oficinas remotas y usuarios de pequeñas empresas (SOHO).

Improved Efficiency and Reduced Costs

  • Integrates the voice, routing, switching, wireless, and data security functionalities of conventional routers, switches, and firewalls. This integration provides users with quick office system set-up, improved efficiency and reduced costs.


High Reliability

  • Supports power-off survival. When the EGW1500E is powered off, the phone connected to POTS1 automatically switches to the FXO port to access the PSTN network.
  • Supports dual homing. If one SIP server fails, the EGW1500E switches to the other SIP server.
  • Supports 3G (backup).When the ADSL or WAN port is disconnected from the IP network, an HSPA data card is connected to the USB port so that the EGW1500E can connect to the IP network.
  • EGW1500E has a mature QoS mechanism. It can guarantee the priority or the bandwidth of key services.

Enterprises can connect to the network with EGW1500E by FE mode or ADSL mode. If the FE link is disconnected, the EGW1500E can automatically switch to the 3G ode and connect to the network.


PCs and IP phone sets within the enterprise connect to LAN ports of the EGW1500E through network cables, while fax machines and common phone sets connect to the FXS ports of the EGW1500E using analog telephone cables. In addition, the EGW1500E supports one FXO to connect PSTN for the intercommunication with PSTN users. Besides, when the EGW1500E is powered off, signals of analog phone sets connected to the PHONE1 port automatically transfer to PSTN subscriber lines, which helps retain basic voice services.


The EGW1500E provides a package of services, such as voice, fax and broadband Internet access, to meet commercial office demands. In addition, uplink transmission has redundant backup to ensure network reliability.
