Con un dispositivo de carga acoplada (CCD) Sony super HAD de 1/3 pulgadas, la cámara VS-IPC-H11P-P (con un alto índice de compresión) utiliza el flujo dual y la compresión de video H.264 estándar para poder controlar la estabilidad del flujo. De este modo, optimiza efectivamente el ancho de banda y el almacenamiento sin afectar la calidad de la imagen.
