Tecal RH2285 Rack Server

Huawei Tecal RH2285 is a high-performance large-capacity storage server applying to data mining, electronic album, distributed storage, video surveillance, and virtualization.

High Performance and Large I/O Bandwidth

  • Supports one or two quad-core/hexad-core processors of the Intel® Xeon® 5600 series, providing up to 2.93GHz main frequency and up to 12MB level-3 cache for each CPU.
  • Supports 12 DDR3 RDIMM or UDIMM memory bands and up to 192GB memory capacity.
  • Provides two GE network ports that support TOE on boards.

Large Capacity and High Reliability

  • Supports twelve 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SAS or SATA disks that can be hot swapping and supports configuration of up to 12TB SAS disks or 24TB SATA disks.
  • Supports optional configuration of SR100 RAID cards that support RAID0, RAID1, and RAID1E.
  • Supports optional configuration of SR200 or SR300 RAID cards that support 512MB high-speed caches and supports data protection technology of RAID0, RAID1, RAID10, RAID5, RAID6, RAID50, and RAID60.
  • Supports optional configuration of BBU modules to protect data upon power-off.

Energy Saving and Emission Reduction

  • Supports the function of lowering frequency, ensuring that system consumption is reduced during low loads.
  • Adjusts fan rotation speeds based on the temperature of key heat components, saving energy, lowering noise levels, and lengthening fan service life.
  • Adopts 80-plus effective power modules.

Differential and Customization Solution

  • Configures value-added components such as Huawei intelligent network cards to resolve problems such as storage and network issues, reducing OPEX and improving server performance.

Easy Management & Maintenance

  • Integrates BMCs into main boards, conforming to the IPMI2.0 standard.
  • Provides independent 10MB or 100MB Ethernet management interfaces.
  • Supports technologies such as remote keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) and virtual media.

Specification RH2285
Performance One to twelve 3.5/2.5-inch SAS or SATA hard disks: support hot plugging; advanced LSI RAID card technology
