Summit Overview

Since its establishment at the Nanjing Summit in February 2014, the eLTE Solution Alliance has made significant progress through the joint efforts of its members. To showcase our achievements through cooperation and further promote the development of the Alliance, the second summit of the eLTE Solution Alliance will be held on November 18, 2014 at Shanghai.

At the summit, experts from industry trunking standards organizations, third-party analysts, industry partners, and top management of customers will communicate with each other upon the trend of broadband trunking standards in China and all over the world. Discussion will also include the latest progress of the eLTE Solution Alliance, and applications of broadband trunking. In addition, Huawei will launch the first eLTE Innovation Center in the industry. Alliance members, partners and customers are welcome to participate in the innovation on eLTE solutions.

Huawei customizes the professional eLTE Broadband Trunking Solution for government, transportation, and energy industries. The solution supports high-performance trunking communication and high-bandwidth data connections, helping industry customers continuously improve service operation efficiency.

Mr. David Wang has the overall responsibility for Huawei Wireless Network Business with over 14,000 employee globally, including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, sales and customer service.   Mr. David Wang started his 16+ years career in telecommunications industry joining in Huawei in 1997. David has been an important part of Huawei team with his key leadership positions across a number of product lines from CDMA /WCDMA/LTE and various business units.

Deputy chief engineer of China Academy of Telecommunication Research (CATR), deputy director of Research Institute of Telecommunications Transmission (RITT), and professorate of senior engineer. Dedicated to pioneering research and practices in mobile telecommunications, especially in 2G, 3G, and IMT-Advanced standards. In charge of standard formulation in the mobile telecommunication industry and related enterprises. Member of China 3G Technical Trial Expert Group (3G TEG) and IMT-Advanced Standard Committee. President of TC5 under China Communications Standards Association (CCSA) and deputy director of Wireless and Mobile Committee under China Institute of Communications (CIC).

Thomas Lynch is an associate director for IHS critical communications group. The groups PMR coverage includes LTE, TETRA, P25, TETRAPOL, DMR, NXDN and dPMR, covered across the key vertical segments of public safety & security, utilities, military, transport and industrial. Prior to joining IHS, Thomas spent several years as a Strategic Marketing Manager and Defense Business Development/Project Manager as well as 10 years’ service. Thomas also holds Developed Vetting (DV) and Security Clearance (SC)

Mr. Gottfried Winter is Sales Director of Funkwerk AG, traffic & control communication group. With 12 years of sales and management experience in the GSM-R industry, he is responsible for the global marketing & sales as well as for market development for GSM-R terminals made by Funkwerk in Germany. Mr. Gottfried Winter has been joining Funkwerk since 2002 in this leading position.  Mr. Gottfried Winter graduated in Informatics from German University of Excellence in Dresden.

Mr. Patrick Zhang joined Huawei in 1992. He is the President of Marketing and Solutions Department of Huawei Products & Solutions. Prior to his current position, he has held the senior management role in several departments, including Huawei Latin America Area, Global Delivery & Service, Fixed Network Product Line, Wireless Network Product Line, and Enterprise Business Group. He has 20 years of rich experience in the ICT industry. Mr. Zhang received his master degree in Electronic Engineering from Fudan University in 1993.

Mr. Bernard Payer is responsible for Siemens CVC business for Transportation, Energy and Security /Public Safety. Prior joining CVC, Bernard was Managing Director of the JV Alcatel-lucent Kapsch and in parallel has been heading all the Alcatel-lucent post sales activities for Telekom Austria Group. Bernard Payer began his career in 1998 within Alcatel Germany and occupied various positions of management with strong customer focus and engagement based in various parts of the world (mainly France, Germany, Austria, Thailand , Malaysia). Through these assignments he built a wide experience on project execution, services sales and telecom solutions.

Mr. M.J.P. Marcel Wetzels started working in the field of business development for SME’s after his study business engineering in Eindhoven (The Netherlands). He consulted, advised and worked for high tech SME's for the past twelve years on innovation management. Speeding up the process for market driven innovation, combining market potential with technology and creativity. As CTO for VCS , Mr. Marcel Wetzels’ goal is to develop the next innovative global solutions for city safety for VCS Observation.

Mr. Chen Xuesong currently is the Chief Engineer of Beijing public security simulation command training system, Beijing Olympic security command system, armed police headquarters combat duty system project, armed police headquarters Armed Guard Bureau informatization level design project, armed public service platform and common business software project, Deputy Chief Engineer of the third phase PLA "810" platform , and safe Chongqing project.

Lei Ting, Chief Engineer of Shanghai DS Communication equipment Co., Ltd , Senior Engineer,Supervisor of Postgraduate,the youth science and technology star of Shanghai in 2009, the top-notch talent of Xuhui district of Shanghai , the 11th committee of Shanghai Youth Federation, a member of China fire standardization technical committee sub committee of the fire communication, is mainly engaged in planning, design and research of ECC System, was in charge of the implementation of several major projects, such as the Shanghai response center, the fire fighting and rescue command center of Guangdong Province.

Mr Miao Wei joined the Nanjing Commway Wireless Network Communication Co.,Ltd. as the deputy general manager at 2014, and is responsible for marketing expasion of the private network and industry solution design. He was once served as the smart city investment director of Wonders Information Co., Ltd.. With more than ten years of ICT industry experience, Mr Miao Wei is dedicated in providing government and indurstry customers with 1.4 GHz frequency band private network solution.

Mr. Avi Peleg is responsible for O3b Cellular Backhaul Business Development and product certifications He has over 25 years of experience in the IT and Telecom markets. Prior to O3b Networks , Avi held various senior positions in product management and global sales at companies including Gilat Satellite Networks, ECI Telecom and IBM.

Mr. Wei Yu graduated from Xi‘an University of Electronic Science and Technology, currently worked as Deputy GM in Shanghai 3G Electronic Engineering Co., Ltd. He has been engaged in wireless communication system design and network planning for many years, and has won the first- and second-class prizes of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award , Shanghai "May-4th" Medal and many other honors.

Mr. Oleg Dyvinets joined LOT LLC in 1994,worked as general director in LOT LLC, then in LOT Company , and became CEO of LOT Group from 2000. Under the lead of Mr. Oleg Dyvinets, LOT successfully implemented several projects of Automated Fare Collection System and Passenger Record-Keeping System from 2005. He holds a MA in Economics at Alfred Nobel University and a MA in Cardiology & Heart Surgery from the National Medical University in Kharkov, Ukraine.
