DBS3900 Distributed Base Station

The DBS3900 is an eLTE distributed base station. It compose of two basic modules: BBU (Base Band Unit) and RRU (Remote Radio Unit), which can be flexibly deployed to meet with diversified deployment requirements in different scenario.


High Performance Mobile Broadband Access Network

The DBS3900 supports high data rates. Supporting 20Mhz bandwidth and 2 x 2 MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output), it can support a downlink rate of up to 1.5Gbps. For remote coverage, such as offshore drilling platforms, the DBS3900 can support ultra long-distance coverage up to 100 kilometers, while downlink and uplink data rates can reach up to 100 Mbps and 50 Mbps per cell, respectively. For railways, the DBS3900 supports up to 430 km/h high-speed train coverage, with 50 Mbps @ 20 MHz downlink and 30 Mbps @ 20 MHz uplink throughput.


World’s Leading Professional Broadband Trunking

Based on LTE technology, Huawei DBS3900 supports the world’s leading professional broadband trunking solution. It has rich and advanced features, including priority call, call hold, late entry, and dynamic grouping. In addition, it maintains outstanding performance as traditional trunking: group call setup time < 300ms. It is worth noting that professional trunking voice and real-time video are delivered in the same base station in the eLTE solution, which means that customers will save on high CAPEX (Capital Expenditures) compared with traditional trunking and data service solutions.


Multiband for Diversified Frequency Resources

The DBS3900 supports multiple frequency bands, including TDD 400M/1.4G/1.8G/2.3G/2.6G/3.5G/3.7G/5.8GHz and FDD 800MHz, including both licensed and unlicensed frequencies. Wide frequency band availability will help industries more easily deploy their networks and adapt to various frequency policies with higher flexibility.
