SUN2000 String Inverter

SUN2000 series of products uses three-level circuit topology, the maximum efficiency up to 98.6%, Photon test result is A+/A+ at both of high irradiation and medium irradiation. The three MPPT is adaptable and flexible for building roof-top PV plant design to improve system yields. DC&AC lightning protection module integrated and natural cooling effectively improve product reliability. It's a real quiet inverter with noise ≤29dB.
This series of products meets Germany BDEW MV directive and VDE AR N 4105 LV directive, CE Low Voltage Directive and the Directive for Electromagnetic Compatibility, Italy Enel-GUIDA and CEI 0-21 certification, as well as China Golden Sun certification. It has good environment adaptability and can be used for various scenarios covering from 8kW to Megawatts, either rooftop or ground mounted power plants.

The working principles of the SUN2000 in this scenario are as follows: The input is connected directly to the PV arrays over waterproof connectors. The output, after flowing through the AC PDB, is finally connected to the three-phase AC low-voltage power grid.


The SUN2000 system connects to the local monitoring terminal over an RS485/RS232 converter to enable local monitoring. It can also connect to the monitoring terminal in the remote data center over a router to support remote monitoring.

the SUN2000 system configuration includes inverter SUN2000, data collector, and ambient monitoring devices.


Main configuration description:


Determine the SUN2000 model based on the PV station requirements.


The data collector is networked to collect data from ambient monitoring devices. One data collector supports 80 SUN2000s.


Ambient monitoring devices monitor the ambient data of the PV station, including the solar radiation, temperature, wind speed, and wind direction. These data can be referred for collecting the energy yield of the PV station. Typically, a PV station is configured with one ambient monitoring device. (More than one ambient monitoring device can be configured if the PV station occupies a large footprint.)


NetEco 1000S V100R001C00 is delivered with the data collector and mainly monitors the power station operating status.


The installation materials including DC terminals, waterproof AC terminals, and waterproof RJ45 connectors are delivered with the SUN2000. DC and AC power cables can be prepared onsite. The network cables are prepared by the customer.
