SUN8000 Central Inverter

SUN8000 has leading efficiency up to 98.7% with "T" type three level topology, and significantly improves reliability with modular design and intelligent dormancy, optimizing efficiency at low irradiation. This product series supports two-winding transformer for grid-connection with common-mode current rejection algorithm, which helps to save 20% of the transformer investment. SUN8000 is an advanced solution for large-scale PV plant application.
This product series meets Germany BDEW MV directive, CEI 0-16 and China Golden Sun certification, fulfills the requirements of LVRT and ZVRT. It has passed the strictest verification tests which ensure SUN8000’s good environment adaptability for applications in the area of high altitude, hot or cold environment.

The working principles of the SUN8000 in this scenario are as follows: The input is connected to combiner box. The output is finally connected to the three-phase AC low-voltage power grid behind the transformer.


The SUN8000 system connects to the local monitoring terminal over an RS485/RS232 converter to enable local monitoring. It can also connect to the monitoring terminal in the remote data center over a router to support remote monitoring.
