The eSpace U1980 is a high-quality IP PBX for medium-and large-sized enterprises. The eSpace U1980 is usually deployed at the enterprise headquarters to connect to PSTN through narrowband and broadband trunks. It supports to access from various terminals, including SIP phones, analog phones, IADs, fax machines, and provides feature-rich voice services. Application and management servers help the eSpace U1980 to implement diverse UC services. The following network topology is applicable to enterprises without branches.

eSpace U1980 Centralized Networking

Often, enterprises deploy one or two eSpace U1980s at the enterprise headquarters to provide call control services for all enterprise users. The eSpace U1900 or eSpace EGW1500 series gateway is also typically deployed at branch nodes to function as the local VoIP gateway, providing local regeneration capabilities. The following network topology is applicable to enterprises that have multiple branches and higher reliability requirements.
